Requests for official Beaufort County criminal records must go to the government office that created or maintains the file. The contacts below distinguish sheriff reports and bookings from clerk case records and statewide fingerprint history. This private site cannot receive a public-record request or issue a certified document.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Need an Official Record?

Use the custodian that matches the Beaufort County record:

  • Court case files: use the Beaufort County court case route or call the Clerk of Superior Court
  • Statewide personal history: follow the NCSBI Right to Review fingerprint process
  • Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Beaufort County Sheriff
  • Certified county search: submit Form AOC-CR-314 to the clerk
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Expunction petitions: file with the court that heard the case
